To use Shiduchim, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Be legally able to enter into a binding contract
• Not be prohibited from using the service under applicable laws
• Be genuinely seeking a relationship for marriage purposes
• Not currently be married

By using the app, you represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility requirements.

You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate and truthful information during registration
• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

You may not:

• Create more than one account
• Share your account with others
• Use another person's account without permission

You agree NOT to:

• Post false, misleading, or deceptive information
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Send spam, solicitations, or promotional content
• Use the app for any illegal purpose
• Upload content that is offensive, explicit, or inappropriate
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Collect information about other users without consent
• Use automated systems or bots to access the service
• Circumvent or disable any security features

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account termination.

Shiduchim uses AI technology to enhance your matchmaking experience:

What AI Does:

• Analyzes your conversations to understand relationship progress
• Reviews your profile and preferences to provide personalized suggestions
• Generates conversation starters and dating advice
• Recommends meeting venues based on shared interests
• Answers your questions about your match (Q&A feature)

How It Works:

• AI processing is powered by third-party services (Anthropic Claude)
• Venue suggestions use Google Places API
• AI features are optional and can be enabled/disabled per conversation
• You must accept AI terms before enabling the Digital Shadchan

Limitations:

• AI suggestions are for guidance only, not professional advice
• AI may make mistakes - verify important information independently
• AI does not make decisions on your behalf
• Venue details (hours, kosher status) should be verified before visiting

Your Control:

• You can disable AI features at any time
• Disabling AI removes access to personalized suggestions
• Your conversation data is processed only when AI is enabled

You are solely responsible for the content you post. By posting content, you:

• Grant us a non-exclusive license to use, display, and distribute your content within the service
• Represent that you own or have rights to the content
• Agree that your profile information may be visible to other users

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable, at our sole discretion.

Shiduchim offers free and premium subscription tiers:

• Premium and VIP subscriptions are billed through the App Store
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You can manage subscriptions in your device's account settings
• Refunds are handled according to App Store policies
• We reserve the right to change subscription prices with reasonable notice
• Free trials automatically convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled

The Shiduchim app, including its design, features, content, and trademarks, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute any part of the app
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
• Use our trademarks without written permission
• Create derivative works based on our service

Shiduchim is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

• That you will find a match or relationship
• The accuracy of information provided by other users
• Continuous, uninterrupted, or secure access to the service
• That the service will meet your expectations

We are not responsible for the conduct of users, whether online or offline. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users. We recommend meeting in public places and exercising caution.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shiduchim and its affiliates shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses
• Damages resulting from your use or inability to use the service
• Conduct of third parties or other users

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate these Terms
• We believe your conduct may harm other users or our business
• Required by law
• For any other reason at our sole discretion

Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive will remain in effect.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the service shall be resolved in the courts of Tel Aviv-Jaffa, Israel.

You agree to resolve any disputes through good-faith negotiation before pursuing legal action.

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes through the app or via email. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must stop using the service and delete your account.
